I’m probably a little late w my comment but, I agree, Hinder is NOT Hinder without Austin! No comparison! Cannot even listen! Just like Journey is not Journey without Steve!! At least they got someone who can sound similar though! Change the name!!!

HINDER is sadly not HINDER without Austin... same thing happened to Fuel when Brett left. they need to change their name and move on. I think when people think of Hinder they thing of their old content and well it was amazing.. this new stuff just doesn’t cut it ..

Hinder is my favorite modern rock band. There, I wanted to get that out of the way. They were at their best when Austin was their lead singer but like Marshall quite a bit in spite of that. Marshal's albums with Hinder are hit or miss for me. I didn't like WHEN THE SMOKE CLEARS that much but I loved THE REIGN. When "Help" was released earlier this year, I was excited. It's a good song with a good message. This song, though, is bad. When I was a boy, one of the first amusement parks I went to was the Hard Rock Park in South Carolina. One of the first rides I rode was the roller coaster revolving around "Life in the Fastlane" by The Eagles. I usually like Hinder's cover songs (I love their version of "Take Me Home Tonight") but this one is subpar. It's messy, production wise and uninspired.

They need to change their band name. They just don’t have it anymore. Best of luck!

Watched them perform this live in Fresno this week omg they just killed it! All up front and personal so much energy I’m still trying to come down.

The sad part is that this cover sounds incredible. The singer is really in his element here. It demonstrates that they need to truly write an album around this singer rather than trying to pull off what they used to. I gave it 4 due to the slowness of the song this go around. Could have been faster for me, but it’s not bad enough to warrant lower.
