This is not Hinder. I agree they need to change their name. A lot of people would like this and follow them , but they are just not the same without the original lead singer.

The song isn’t bad- but it’s not Hinder. My suggestion is to drop the band name. I think a ton of fans would follow you if you did; however, this song is not a good hinder song. As fans, i think a ton of us listened to you because you were unique and you had specific qualities that blew us away. Yet, you’ve been erasing those qualities without any explanation. Compared to your other material: the guitar is completely uninspired and weak, the vocals are boring and pretty monotone, the lyrics are subpar, etc. It sounds like you guys are just going through the motions, or you want to change the entire sound of the band. If so, that’s totally cool- but you’re ostracizing the fanbase you had and you changed too much too quickly. The easiest solution is to pull a Three Days Grace/St. Asonia. Throw away the band name and build your band again.

One of my new favorite songs from a band that has managed to roll with so many tough punches and still thrive. Y’all continue to surprise me! Thank you!
