My head went places and my body began to tingle a bit. It has character melded with a nice musicianship. Maybe I could get toned out on it at a point, and something about its tone is reminiscent of many things in its genre. I don't listen to all that much "alternative" music anyway so it is a spice in my life for its musicianship and the scratch'n'sniff movie that plays in my head when I hear it.
  • another fine album!

I personally love the rough recording style and original lyrics that M. ward brings. This album is another example of his genius in combining harmoniously plucked strings with discordant "in the room" sounds. This album is beautiful to listen to and feels natural and authentic.
