Bullhead

Classic Melvins album right here. I like the production values. It is just right with this one. Dale Crover is an awesome bottom-endy drummer. I can't decide If I like him more or like Hellhammer from Mayhem more. I like what is called 'Alternative Metal'... not the mainstream metal of Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and Priest, but stuff like Melvins, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, and Helmet. Bands that are heavy but still alternative-istical. So Melvins fit into what I like, give them a listen if you like other cool bands.

The Melvins are known for creating Stoner Rock/Sludge Metal/Doom Metal which is an amazing underground style of music. They are also known for their experimentalism and influencing grunge god Kurt Cobain. This album is known as a classic album by many fans and is rightfully considered so. The album starts out with Boris, a heavy, slow song that lasts for 8 minutes and 35 seconds. Then the album speeds up with the fast paced sonf Anaconda, a more Hardcore Punk song. The album slows down on its next song, Ligature, which is another slow paced song in which Stoner Rock fans around the world were enjoying for sure. It's Shoved is a faced past song and is "the gem" of the album. Zodiac speeds up while Buzz Osbourne spits out non-understandable lyrics. If I Had an Exorcism is another great metal song many will enjoy. Your Blessened is another Stoner Rock anthem that potheads around the world will be amused with along with Cow. Buy this classic Melvins album.

This album brings me back to when I saw them play at the UCSC cafeteria. Good times great oldies. Melvins are perhaps the greatest band of all time.
