This is the first LP with Dale/Buzz & Cody/Jared (big business) and Toshi Kasai engineered the behemoth. I have to say it’s my favorite Melvin’s LP. That’s not an easy decision to make and I would say there are 7 that are always contenders for favorites and 10 more that are a very close second, but this line up is unique and these songs are brilliantly captured - the way one rolls into the next without realizing it is beyond anything Pink Floyd ever did with all that money and studio time and gear ...
History of Bad Men & Civilized Worm are shining beasts w/bat chain pullers. After this one pick up the next in the sequence with this line up - NUDE WITH BOOTS .. it’s just as egregious but since it’s like Part 2 of the L/R drummers it doesn’t have as big of an impact as this one did. Still a fantastic record.
