There's no way this album is almost 20 years old. It is a timeless masterpiece. It's little different from his music these days, but the foundamental concept and passion are the same if not more in your face. A jazz master. He is one of the best ever in jazz history.

This is probably my favorite cd. Kenny Garrett is my influence and my hero. The two best songs in my opinion are African Exchange Student and Lullaby of Isfahan. If you don't buy the full album, you have to get at least one of those two songs.

"Ja-Hed" and "African Exchange Student" are excellent, and the others are very good. This is good place to start for KG tunes. Peace.
