    I saw Kenny and his band at Blues Alley this summer. Kenny loves his music and his passion is infectious. By the time he was done, the club crowd was clapping and stomping and swaying in their seats. Kenny is such a stud and has so much love for music that he sheds the constrictions of genre like a scratchy sweater. He mixes his bebop and jazz core with r and b and a touch of radio- friendly smooth and it all works because the music is good. That is also what I got from this album. It is all good because it is always swinging and always good. Yep, yep. I will be grooving to this for a long while.
