This album doesn't come close to being as great as the self-titled album, but that doesn't mean the music isn't still great. "Isn't it about time" is a very catchy tune that highlights Stills' vocals, and "Lies" is also a great tune. My personal favorite on this album is "Rollin my stone." As I said before, not as great as the first album but definatley worth listening to - you can't find music like this today.

Both of the Manassas records are awesome, but this one is by far my favorite. The live DVD from Germany is great too.

Here is more good music by the great band that made MANASSAS. Comparisons are useless; MANASSAS was organized into four mini-albums, each with its own theme; this OTOH is just a batch of songs. But they're very good songs, for the most part, fully deserving to be alongside the 1972 release. Consider this to be just the third disc of MANASSAS, or even its bonus tracks, and you might enjoy it just fine. For best results, start with tracks 6-10 (that was side 2 in vinyl days); if it saves you a bit of $, you can skip tracks 2 & 3
