This has been on constant rotation in my car for the past two weeks. These guys still rock better than most. Who would have thought, after all these years, the Scorpions would release one of their best albums - of older material re-imagined, no less. Bravo!

I’ve been a fan for 30 years. Return to Forever does not disappoint. Klaus still has the voice of a 20-year old. Simply amazing.

I've been a Scorpions fan for over 35 years and this album ranks up there with their classics from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Just saw their show in Vegas and I was blown away! Forget this talk about retiring guys and keep cranking out the music!

The songs on this album song are as great as anything else the band has put out. It just goes to show that after 50 years, they keep bringing the energy. I had the opportunity to see them live last night and I can tell you that the songs on this sound awesome as they are recorded and even better live. You will not be disappointed!

Really good Album. Keep rocking scorpions. I just came out of listening to Bon Jovi and this is an awesome album to listen to it's like Bon Jovi 2.0.

50 years of making great music they have delivered something here as awesome as anything they have ever done. Any true scorpions fan will love this plus you get 19 songs with no fillers . Great job guys you set the bar even higher.

Not Good. I listened to the Scorpions daily for decades. They are my favorite band. They are not what they used to be. This does not compare to Blackout, Animal Magnetism, Love at First Sting, or Lovedrive. This is a good album to slow dance to but there is no sting.
  • Standard, Solid Scorpions

On the first listening, there's not much that really catches my attention. More than anything, its great to see that the boys are still making music. And its great to see a hard rock band still on a major label (a pretty rare thing these days). This is probably the third or fourth time they've said goodbye (and probably will again), but its a very welcome eating of words. Klaus sounds as great as ever, and Rudolph and Matthias are up to their old tricks with lots of great heavy riffing and classic leadwork. I'm not a fan of their sappy ballads that all come off as different versions of "Gorky Park" (my least favorite Scorpions song), but they still rock the hard tunes very well. Lots of standard big-studio clean production sound, could probably benefit from a little more grit, but overall seems pretty tasty. I will have to give a few more listens to really see how this fits into the Scorpions catalog in my head.
