If not for the clearly modern production (as in it sounds way over compressed), this could have been released in the mid eighties. The vocals from Klaus haven't degraded a bit. The band sounds no older than they did thirty years ago now. The best part is that they aren't trying to replicate Love at First Sting. They are simply being themselves.

Ok. I am 12 yrs. old and I literally have been "raised on rock". I mostly get funny looks for being a rock loving girl because most people think that I am a pop loving girl. But no, I JUST LOVE THE SCORPIONS!

I've never been a fan of Scorpions but they sound so youthful on this album, and they are all above sixty. Five stars for sounding so good at their age

I gave it an extra star simply because I'd given up on these guys in the late 80's and this album just smokes in a way that Scorpions haven't since the early to mid 80's. In many ways they've never been so heavy. Blackout is their masterpiece and a five star tour de force. This isn't quite to that level but who would have guessed they had it in them, therefore five stars instead of four. I saw them on a couple tours (80, 82) and this really is the closest they've been to that good since then.

You know how old rockers put out albums when they are in their 50's and 60's and you wish they wouldn't? You wish they would just stop??! Well that aint so with the Scorpions. This album is absolutely no joke...one of their best. I thought they couldn't get any better then 07's Humanity, but the scorpions put out Sting of the Tail and proved me wrong. I love this album from beginning to end. no joke... get it!
