Great recording of old hits and covers. I rather like when artists re-record to give the sound to new and old fans what they'd sound like with today's modern capturing equipment. Plus they just sound very crisp in these performances.

Hey I Tunes where is the new albun Return to forever? IF Beyonce had a new album you would have it the first day it was released. Why do Scorpions fans have to wait months for Return to Forever?

I wish more veterna rock bands would get together and re-record thier best hits like Scorpions did. Who cares, for money or for fun, or maybe for both. It just not all veterans are able to rock it out like these guys. One of the best rock bands in history.

Honestly I don't get all the hate this album is receiving. It's a "Greatest Hits" collection in spirit, and those never seem to get people hopping mad like this. A local radio station played the entire album without breaks last night and I cranked the stereo, leaned back and fell in love with the band again. If you have the originals already, then the covers on the second half may not be worth spending for the whole album, but the new versions to me sound bigger and even more over the top than the originals. My only complaint is that "Still Loving You" and "No One Like You" lost a bit of their dynamic range with the re-recording, but don't think of these as replacing the classic tracks you know and love, but as simply an alternate version of them. Also, I'm holding out for the deluxe edition, "Big City Nights" and "Shapes of Things" are on that one. Scorpions, you will be missed, but we salute a great act who kept rockin' all these years!

I didn't think it was possible but they took some of their very best songs and made them better! Their guitars are so tight. They know exactly how much guitar to add without going overboard. Harmonizing vocals are incredible. If you thought the Scorpions rocked before, get ready for a huge blast in face with blazing guitars and killer vocals by a time tested, world loved Scorpions. Amazing job on their own songs and an amazing tribute to some other great tunes. THANK YOU SCORPIONS!!!!

These recordings of their own songs sound cool. Puts a different feel on them. Do you honestly believe the commercials on television or the pure unrealism in films. Computer generated generation? Adults influence children. Not the other way around, then we all influence each other. In a time of constant rehashes don't pretend that it all hasn't all been heard before, accept that you come from a generation of wannabes and you'll be ok. Act like lady gaga didn't just rip off Madonna and so on, you'll be a fool until you're dead.
