Well with it not being his only live release anymore, THE PRICE NEEDS TO COME DOWN, IT'S NOT WORTH THIS MUCH! And the other 2 are better and longer.
  • Wish it were better!

Let me first say that I love Lindsey and Fleetwood Mac. I just don't get him barking like a dog in this song. It ruins it. I'm shocked that there isn't another version of this available.
  • MUST OWN!

I've been listening to this entire album over and over again for years. This is one of the best live music albums you could ever get, I always play this for my friends when they come over. Terrific, gutty performance by the guitar genius of fleetwood mac! You will not be disappointed. This is entertaining, well balanced, melodic, addictive music.
  • One of the best live albums ever

The one star reviews are just because iTunes doesn't have what they want for the right price. It's worth the money! Lindsey Buckingham rocks and this is a big treat to all FM fans!
  • He's older but not really wiser

I'm a fan of Lindsey--especially the Fleetwood Mac days, of course, but even after. But let's face it, he's not as young as he used to be and the voice is going. (Same with the other greats--Brian Wilson, Judy Collins, etc. That's life.) The thing is, the playing and the energy could save his live shows, but darn it, LB can make some not wise artistic decisions. The most famous example, of course, is the dog barking on "Holiday Road." And in the live version, he calls on the audience to "bark like a dog, bark like a dog, bark like a dog." And this goes on for a good part of the song. Please, no. If you're looking for a version without the barking but sounds like LB, there ain't one, as far as I can tell. However, the tribute version by Down the Holiday Road (I know, I've got to be kidding, right? No, I'm serious.) is pretty close and with only about 12 seconds of barking at the end. Ameritz's tribute version also has only about 20 seconds of barking at the end and gets close to sounding like LB. But they're not really LB, of course. Could someone please remaster this song and take out the barking. You'd sell a million downloads, you know. It's a fun, energetic song.

If this is what Lindsey sounds like live these days, I'm glad I didn't go see him at Taft Theater on this tour. He sounds awful.
  • Original Holiday Road?

This was not the version I wanted. I wish itunes allowed you to listen to the song you are going to purchase prior to buying it. Would have saved me some $$
  • It doesn't get any better than this.

I've seen several hundred rock n roll shows over the last 40 years and I can't believe that I missed this tour. Buckingham is a terrific songwriter, so the material is absolutely first rate. But it is his performance that is truly the stunner here. Possibly the best marriage of pop music repertoire and performer I can think of. Not only is this a spectacular show, but the video is an amazing document - by far the best concert video I have ever seen. Spring for the extra $ for the video, because LB's intensity is a must-see. Unlike the cliche guitar smashers, he assaults his instrument in the pursuit of tone. When he straps on an electric guitar, I believe that he is among the most distinctive of rock music's guitar maestros. Then, just to demonstrate that he's no "one-trick-pony", he picks up an acoustic guitar and simoltaneously picks out ridiculously intricate polyrythms and melodies. I'd love to see him take a shot at classical guitar. If you love the guitar DO NOT MISS this one.

Like everyone who was young in Fleetwood Mac's heyday (Rumors, Tusk, Fleetwood Mac etc) I had heard all of Fleetwood Mac's music many times whether on the radio, at a party or having my girlfriend put it on and forcing me into listening to it. I enjoyed it, but was never a fan. I'm a baseball umpire and in between innings, schools will blast some rock and roll for about a minute and a half. One day "Big Love" comes on from this album. I knew that I had heard the song before but I couldn't place it. All I knew was that whoever was playing the guitar was a genius. After the game I asked who it was and was told that it was off of this album. I joted the name down on the back of my scorecard. Initially I only wanted "Big Love" but after listening to the samples and reading reviews I bought the entire albumn. I cannot believe how much I've enjoyed this album. Listen to it with headphones, you will hear Lindsey's fingers sliding up and down the strings. The man is a guitar god. I pray he produces another live album. There is something about his live performance that adds an entirely new meaning to these songs. They appear to be so personal and so powerful. In the meantime I plan to check out "Under the Skin" and "Gift of Screws". Buy this albumn you will not be disappointed!
