Censor

Any Skinny Puppy fan knows the name of the first song on Vivisect VI, and that Censor is a single for that very song. This single stretches out the title track, loads it with Key's aural goodness, and mixes things up for a staggeringly long remix. There is no drawback to Censor, with the remix, the album version or the 2 extra tracks. It's a better-than-solid single. Ogre's screeching is in beautiful form, Key and Goettel surround the vocals with abrasive samples, pounding beats, and a hook that sticks with you like jujifruits after a movie! Sadly, it is one of the more obscure singles, and was even left out of the cd "12 Inch Anthology", which covers Puppy's singles from Dig It to Testure. Censor was the first of 2 singles from Vivisect VI, with Testure being the second. Wrapped up, Censor pleases in every aspect. Not to be missed.
