It is so about time this was finally released, it shouldn't have been unreleased to begin with, Although Mike Murphy's vocals were alright for albums like lost in a dream, his replacement vocals for the Ridin' The Storm album were terrible, if this original version along with the Kevin vocal of Son Of A Poor Man were released origianly in 1973 whether Kevin was let go from the band or not, they would have had two first major hits, and the album would have been there real breakthrough, and it's awesome predecesor R.E.O T.W.O , which was Cronin's debut would have climbed the charts as well. then if Kevin stll left and they did the two later albums with Murphy, then that would have been ok, cosidering Cronin would return in 1976 anyways, Murphy would have been a great singer for Steely Dan, but he was not fit for REO Speedwagon.
