I remembered once hearing a Celtic version of FFIV's main theme and I had tried to find ig, but it seems I wasn't looking hard enough until recently, and found it with this track and I don't regret buying the other songs either. All of these are done beautifully and gives an amazing take to the idea of variations on a theme.

I purchased this music under the impression that it was simply music from one of my favorite video games with a full, rich, irish body of hair, but that isn't all you get. In simple terms, I guess I'd say that the music isn't always true to the source material, but it actually goes far beyond that. Celtic additions usually patch in with the normal melody of the music, and usually warp the original song by messing with the rhythem to give it an irish flair, or sometimes they simply write their own piece interwoven with the original piece. Sometimes these bits and pieces work well, but other times they can just be confusing, or interupt the flow or the mood of the original song. Some examples of this are: Illusionary World, Dancing Calcobrena, Main Theme But... All-in-all Celtic Moon is an original alblum with a unique and, for the most part, pleasing sound that's worth checking out for any fan of Final Fantasy, despite its quirks.

No seriously, this really is the best FF soundtrack on iTunes. The interesting mix of Celtic music, with the lutes, violins, and incredible scoring create an incredible soundtrack. This is definately a must have for any of the FF fans, or just a listener willing to try out new music!

I'm a big fan of Final Fantasy in General. This is one of the greatest and combining it with celtic instruments makes it all the greater.

This remake is AWESOME! Especially since this is my favorite game in the series, and I am a fan of celtic music. If you already have the FFIV soundtrack, listen to a couple of the songs and then listen to this version. It is a must have!

Celtic moon is a unique album with several gems (I personally enjoy the prelude, melody of the lute, and the chocobo theme on this album). It's a must for anyone who enjoys good game music or even good relaxing music.

iTunes is finally getting the more rare albums on here! I am very happy to see Celtic Moon and FFVII Piano Collections. Now, let's see if there are any others that make their apperance here.
