Nobuo Uematsu is the best vgm composer of all time. I loved these tracks, particularly the best for me are "Roses Of May", "Not Alone"(Though I liked the original much better), and the lovely "Melodies Of Life" which sounds amazing on the piano and definitely improves the song 1000 times. Yet another impressive record by Uematsu.

I have been a Final Fantasy fan since I was a small child, and Final Fantasy IX is one of the two (with FFVII, naturally) that stick out more than any others in my mind. The music was always amazing to me -- all Final Fantasy music is so beautifully composed and written even in the games, and combined with the memories of my enjoyment playing the best RPGs in history, it is all wonderful. These piano versions are extroardinarily and inspiringly beautiful. Some tracks, such as "Melodies of Life," bring me almost to tears. 5 Stars, we love you Mr. Uematsu.
  • Nice for a FF fan like me

You don't HAVE to be a real big fan of FF (Final Fantasy) to enjoy these songs, but it's always better just so you know what you're listining to.

Ok, I'm happy to see theses songs in piano form, since their ingame counterparts are excellent. If anyone happens to know were I could find A Place to Call Home piano sheet music please post a link to the site....

Listening to the tracks from this soundtrack makes me want to play the piano again after seven years. Certain tracks are obviously compatible with the piano, while others, such as "Vamo Alla Flamenco", may seem strange. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find "Vamo Alla Flamenco" works quite well and is just as enjoyable to listen to as the other tracks. Other great pieces include "A Place to Call Home", "Village of Dali", "Roses of May", and "Dark Treno" (one of my personal faves). This CD belongs in any FFIX fan's collection. At the very least, certain tracks belong in every Final Fantasy lover's music library.
  • Ugh, pure musical excellence

All I can say is that I don't think that there were any better songs to play from Final Fantasy IX on the piano. "Not Alone" was amazing in game, and amazing in piano. "Dali" is my personal favorite, however. It is just so relaxing!
